Prince2 Practitioner - Course Exam

The Practitioner exam is an 'objective' style exam. This means participants are presented a number of potential responses to questions and are required to use their knowledge of the method to select the correct response.

The exam will be taken from the following syllabus and cover 7 Theme questions and 2 Process questions:

  • Business Case theme
  • Project Organization theme
  • Quality theme
  • Plans theme
  • Risk theme
  • Change theme
  • Progress theme
  • Starting up a Project and Initiating a Project processes
  • Directing a Project, Managing a Stage Boundary and Closing a Project processes
  • Controlling a Stage and Managing Product Delivery processes

Questions are presented in the following style:

  • Classical multiple choice
  • Yes/No
  • Multiple response
  • Matching
  • Sequencing
  • Assertion/Reason

The Practitioner exam is a 2.5 hour open book scenario based exam. The maximum score for the exam is 108 marks. The participant must acquire 55% or more correct responses to pass the exam.

For open courses the Practitioner course is delivered as a 2 day event. For in-house programs it can be delivered as a 2 day or 3 day event.
