Project & PROGRAMME Assurance

Assurance is integral to the function of any project or programme management team. This role provides independent assessment and advice to both senior management and individual managers of the projects or programme. Functions of the Assurance role may include:

  • Review of key documents such as the Business Case and Project or Programme Plans
  • Advise on internal and external standards that need to be met
  • Advise on benefits realisation and review plans
  • Review the appropriateness of governance structures
  • Examination of issues that may impact on project or programme objectives
  • Advise on change management strategies
  • Monitor performance on behalf of senior management
  • Other responsibilities as specified by senior management.
